US and
European shale gas exploration will re-draw the worldwide energy
distribution map and change the geopolitical financial and power
balances.
The biggest winners are shale gas producers and perhaps the climate as
well.
The next winners are energy hungry industries that will see a decline in
cost.
The losers are regions that depend on oil exports, but the biggest
loosers of them all will be the countries that have spent the last 50
years pumping oil but not invested their money into a reformed and
stable society. The arabic spring revolutions and the collapse of Syria is just the beginning in the middle east region.
